Contemporary Latin American Art Space of the Heights, dedicated to the never- ending inspiration of Latino artists from the US and Latin America in Washington Heights. The building is surrounded by one of the most vibrant and emerging neighborhoods in NYC and promises to be the next essential cultural destination for all New Yorkers and visitors from around the world.

Positioning/Naming The client came to GC to create logo design and brand identity for a new Dominican cultural space in New York. We took the idea from a local community space to a global landmark that will host Latin American art, renaming it CLASH. Capitalizing its triangular shape, CLASH is the second triangle building in Manhattan.

Brand identity The shape of the building inspired the design of the corporate identity, from logo and letterhead to guidelines and spatial design.

Spatial design As part of the brand identity, we wanted the CLASH brand experience to be consistent and come to live inside and outside the building, bringing the arts to the community and helping reposition the neighborhood.
